On 25 May a group of delegates from the Shandong Academy of Sciences (China; www.sdas.org) headed by its President Mr. Li Hai-Xiang paid a call to the Republican Centre for Technology Transfer during their official visit to the National Academy of Science of Belarus.
The visitors came to learn more about the activity performed by the Centre. RCTT's conference hall was the venue for a meeting of Chinese guests, Director of the Institute of Genetics and Cytology of the NASB Mr. A. Kilchevsky and Director of RCTT Mr. A. Uspenskiy. The parties took up the current context and prospects for future collaboration between the Shandong Academy, the institute and RCTT.

An Agreement of Intentions has been signed by RCTT and China Science and Technology Exchange Center (www.cstec.org.cn) on 2 March, during the official visit of Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Mr. Martynov to China. According to the two parties’ plans, the general agreement of their collaboration in the technology transfer field is to be signed within 2005.

IV East-West Innovation Forum is to take place in Bialystok (Poland) on 30 - 31 March 2005. This year's event has been put in under the framework of the running international project "Creating International Innovation Centre of East". RCTT is one of the stakeholders in this Project.

The Forum's objectives, goals, tasks, participation terms and agenda are available on the Web portal of RCTT.

On 24 February Director of RCTT and Joint-Stock Company Tomsk International Business Centre (TMDTS) "TEKHNOPARK" signed their bipartite agreement. In accordance with the newly signed covenant, RCTT is to join TEKHNOPARK’s interregional technology transfer network. The agreement is poised at promotion of the commercialization of the innovation projects, products and technologies by scientific and technical organizations and enterprises of the Tomsk region and the Republic of Belarus.

From March 2005 the two parties' projects are to appear on the Web portals of TMDTS "TEKHNOPARK" and RCTT.
