On 7-8 December RCTT held an international seminar, titled “Working Procedures in Technology Transfer Networks (RCTT, RTTN, UNIDO Exchange, yet2.com). Preparing Innovation Projects in the Formats of UNIDO, IRC and yet2.com”.

 

The objectives of the event were:

• to familiarize the participating specialists with the updated information resources and services offered by RCTT;

• to provide the trainees with hands-on skills in preparation of innovation and investment projects and placing the projects on the Web portal of RCTT (http://ictt.by), in the international network UNIDO Exchange, Russian Technology Transfer Network (RTTN), the network of the commercial centre for technology transfer of yet2.com Inc. (USA).

 

Personnel of RCTT’s regional and branch offices and representatives of Joint-Stock Company Centre for Engineering and Technology Transfer (Kazakhstan) came to Minsk to exchange their views and share experience, and obtain the most recent knowledge on the topic. The company from Kazakhstan has been RCTT’s partner in the technology transfer area since 2004, after the relevant cooperation agreement had been signed by the two parties.

 

The framework of the seminar has provided a discussion on the current state of the cooperation between RCTT and Joint-Stock Company Centre for Engineering and Technology Transfer, the outlook to the future relations and alternative ways for intensified collaboration of the parties. With this purpose, there has been prepared a draft agreement for cooperation between the office of RCTT at the United Institute of Informatics Problems (with the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus) and the Kazakh technology transfer company.
