On 12 April a document was signed to authorize establishment of another regional office of RCTT, at the Scientific and Analytical Centre for Information, Innovation and Technology Transfer in Mahileu.

 

The office will be managed by Mr. Alexander G. Bykhovskiy (the contact person).

The regional office in Mahileu was opened owing to the unfailing support provided by the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus and the National Academy of Science of Belarus.

 

The four other offices have been established before:

• for the region of Vitsebsk (opened at the university in Polatsk in April 2003);
• for the region of Brest (inaugurated in August 2003 at the Centre for Scientific and Technical Information and Innovations in Brest);
• for the region of Hrodna (set up at the State University of Hrodna in November 2004);
• for the Homel region (opened in November 2004 at the State University of Homel).
