2005 Taipei International Invention Show and Technomat was held in Taiwan from 29 September to 3 October in Taipei (Taiwan). RCTT took part in the event owing to the invitation and sponsorship of the Technology Transfer Centre of the Industrial Technology Research Institute of Taiwan (ITRI) and Moscow Office of ITRI.

 

Over 500 projects were highlighted by RCTT at the Show. The projects in concern with production of novel heat pipes, creation of brand-new solar elements for portable PCs, new information technologies were of particular interest to the hosts and visitors of the Show.

 

During the seminar jointly organized by ITRI and the Taiwan Electric and Electronic Manufacturers Association (TEEMA) on 30 September the representative of RCTT Dr. Kuzmin made a presentation on the Nanovation patent portfolio promoted by RCTT.

 

During the Show RCTT’s representative accompanied representatives of the аdministration of the Tomsk Region and Russian Fund of Fundamental Research to visit the Technology Transfer and Nanotechnology Center at ITRI.

 

Several issues related to the would-be cooperation between Belarusian scientific community and ITRI were taken up during the visit.
