On 8 November 2005 the fifth branch office of RCTT was opened. This new office was established at the State Institute of Biochemistry of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, owing to the national academic support and the aegis of the State Committee on Science and Technology.

 

The newly established office is to focus on the main activity lines as follows:

 

§        promoting the innovation activity and technology transfer in the areas of application of up-to-date methods and techniques in biologic analysis and diagnostics; development of biochemical, biophysical, immunological methods in biomaterial study; development of new approaches in diagnostics of epidemics and occupational diseases and their case detection; development of new bioactive drugs, medicines, vitamin additives and diagnostic methods by the Institute;

§        rendering assistance to the development of innovation business enterprising and furthering the international innovation partnerships in the sphere of innovation, science-intensive research and development;

§        supporting the state policies in the domestic small and medium-scaled innovation business, particularly in concern with novel laboratory study, medical and pharmaceutical activity.

 

PhD Liliya I. Nadolnik was assigned director of the branch.
