RCTT at This Year’s International Symposium in South Korea
One more international symposium on innovation activity and technology transfer took place in Seoul (the Republic of Korea) on 19 June 2012. The event was organized by the Government of the City of Seoul and the Korea Techno-Venture Foundation (KTVF, http://ktvf.or.kr/). Representatives from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine and more than 80 participants represented SMEs South Korea took part in the event.
During the symposium Director of RCTT Dr. Alexander Uspenskiy presented the report "Services and Information Resources Offered by RCTT to Foreign Companies and Investors. Innovation Projects and Developments by Organizations of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus".
Of the eight Belarusian R&D products presented, the below listed offers were of special interest to Korean business:
- New phosphocalcic food additive "Dopinat" (developed by the Institute of Radiobiology of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus);
- Fabrication technique for environmentally safe biostimulants and plant-protecting agents (developed by the V.F.Kuprevich Institute of Experimental Botany of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus);
- Non-waste technology for treatment of oil processing plants sewage water (developed by the Institute of Microbiology of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus);
- Technology of local bacterial purification of sewage water from phthalic ethers production (developed by the Institute of Microbiology of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus);
- Technology of purification of soil and water from oil (developed by the Institute of Microbiology of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus);
- Bacterial product “Ecobel” for soil and water purification from oil and its recycle products (developed by the Institute of Microbiology of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus).
Commercial offers from the Belarusian developers are expected to be sent to interested Korean businesses in the near future.
The representative of RCTT held preliminary talks with the KTVF. The parties agreed to jointly hold a Belarusian-Korean Cooperation Exchange for Korean businesses and Belarusian developers in Minsk the In 4 quarter 2012.
