Study visit of the Project LT.InnoConnect.BY was issued in Panevezys
The Study visit of the Project "LT.InnoConnect.BY - Innovation networking for economic development" was issued in Panevezys (Lithania) on April 26-27, 2012.
The Project LT.INNOCONNECT.BY is carried out in the frame of the EUROPEAN NEIGHBOURHOOD AND PARTNERSHIP INSTRUMENT 2007-2013 CROSS BORDER COOPERATION PROGRAMME LATVIA-LITHUANIA-BELARUS.
The theme of the Study visit: “Studying of examples from real activity and results of support of innovative activity, access to a practical operational experience in the transnational environment”.
The workshop was attended by representative’s partner organizations of the project:
- Lithuanian Innovation Centre (Vilnius, Lithuania).
- Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno (Grodno, Belarus).
- Educational Institution "Polotsk State University" (Novopolotsk, Belarus).
- Republican Centre for Technology Transfer (Minsk, Belarus)
- Panevėžys Science and Technology Park (Panevėžys, Lithuania).
- Business Cooperation Center of Southern Lithuania (Alytus, Lithuania).
- Kaunas University of Technology (Kaunas, Lithuania).

Participants of visit have familiarized with experience of interaction Panevėžys Science and Technology Park and Technological Faculty Panevėžys Institute of the Kaunas Technological University in the field of creation of industrial robots.
Partners of the project have visited Lithuanian enterprises "Rifas" and ”Schmitz Cargobul Baltic UAB”.
Enterprise "Rifas" specializes in the field of power, electrical engineers, the industries, constructions, transport and the oil, renewed energy sources. The enterprise is characterized with successful activity, strong positions in the foreign markets, high quality of production, financial stability.
The enterprise "Schmitz Cargobul Baltic UAB" is created as a result of investments into the Lithuanian industry by German concern "Schmitz Cargobul", produced vehicles.
