On September 8 - 11, Dr. Alexander Uspenskiy, Director of RCTT in the delegation of the NAS of Belarus headed by the Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the NAS of Belarus Academician Aliaksandr Kilcheuski took part in the Scientific and Technical Cooperation Week of Kunshan 2019 (China).
Organizers: Kunshan Municipal People’s Government, Kunshan Science and Technology Bureau and the Guangdong Union on International Scientific and Technical Cooperation with the CIS countries.
The event was attended by 18 foreign experts from Belarus, Russia and Ukraine.
The scientists of the NAS of Belarus represented the following organizations:
- Center for Systems Analysis and Strategic Research
- V.F Belyi Metal Polymer Research Institute
- B.I.Stepanov Institute of Physics
-SSPA Optics, Optoelectronics and Laser Technology.
The visit of NASB delegation was organized by RCTT and the Guangdong Union on International Scientific and Technical Cooperation with the CIS countries (the Union) in the frame of the Cooperation Agreement signed by RCTT and the Union on 11.07.2014.
The delegation presented at the events the developments from the Catalog Innovation Technology Offers by Organizations of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus 2019; participated in the grand opening ceremony of the Belt and Road KunShan International Advanced Technology Institute; visited Duke Kunshan University, the Kunshan Research Institute of Industrial Technologies (KSITRI) where examined the premises allocated for the Kunshan Innovation Center of the NAS of Belarus and permanent exhibition of the NAS of Belarus and, other organizations.
Mr. Du Xiaogang, Party Secretary of Kunshan Municipal Committee of the CPC and Mr. Valeriy M. Matzel, Consul General of the Republic of Belarus in Shanghai took part in the grand opening ceremony of the Belt and Road KunShan International Advanced Technology Institute.
B.I.Stepanov Institute of Physics signed memorandums of cooperation with firms Celox Photonics Technology Inc. and Suzhou raystron Technology Co., Ltd. V.F Belyi Metal Polymer Research Institute signed a memorandum of cooperation with Suzhou raystron Technology Co., Ltd.
Within the framework of the events, the Director of RCTT Dr. Alexander Uspenskiy made a presentation on the theme: “Research and Innovation Potential of the Republic of Belarus”.
