On July 21-24, Dr. Alexander Uspenskiy, Director of RCTT in the delegation of the NAS of Belarus took part in the Innovation Scientific and Technical Cooperation Week of the Liaoning Province 2019 (STW 2019) in Tieling (China).

Organizers: Tieling Municipal People’s Government, Department of Science and Technology of Liaoning Province and the Guangdong Union on International Scientific and Technical Cooperation with the CIS countries.

The event was attended by 36 foreign experts from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Lithuania.

The scientists of the NAS of Belarus represented the following organizations:
- Center for Systems Analysis and Strategic Research
- V.F Belyi Metal Polymer Research Institute
- Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry
- Scientific-Practical Materials Research Centre
- Physical-Technical Institute.

The visit of NASB delegation was organized by RCTT and the Guangdong Union on International Scientific and Technical Cooperation with the CIS countries (the Union) in the frame of the Cooperation Agreement signed by RCTT and the Union on 11.07.2014.

The delegation presented at the events the developments from the Catalog Innovation Technology Offers by Organizations of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus 2019; participated in the meeting with the Secretary of Tieling Municipal Party Committee of CPC Mr. Shiwei Li and the Mayor of Tieling Mr. Sui XianLi; participated in the opening ceremony; presented the achievements of the organizations of the NAS of Belarus at the sectional meeting on science and technology, in the Shenyang branch of the Academy of Sciences of China, in the industrial park of the city of Tieling and other organizations.

Within the framework of the events, the Director of RCTT Dr. Alexander Uspenskiy made a presentation on the theme: “Research and Innovation Potential of the Republic of Belarus”.
