On June 14, 2019 the delegation of Kunshan (China) headed by Mr. Du Xiaogang, Party Secretary of Kunshan Municipal Committee of the CPC, visited the NAS of Belarus.

At the meeting with the delegation attended the First Deputy Chairman of the NAS of Belarus Academician Sergei Chizhik, the Head of the Main Department of International Scientific and Technical Cooperation of the NAS of Belarus Dr. Vladimir Podkopaev, the Director of RCTT Dr. Alexander Uspenskiy and others.

The guests were informed about activity of the NAS of Belarus and RCTT; saw the exhibition of the NAS of Belarus “Achievements of the National Science for the Industrial Sector”; acquainted with the Virtual exhibition of the NAS of Belarus. There was a discussion of cooperation prospects in the field of technology transfer and technology commercialization.

During the meeting, a number of agreements were signed, in particular:
- Framework agreement on scientific and technical cooperation between the Kunshan Research Institute of Industrial Technologies (KSITRI) and the NAS of Belarus;
- Framework Cooperation Agreement between the Guangdong Union of International Scientific and Technical Cooperation with the CIS countries and the Republican Center for Technology Transfer;
- Memorandum on strategic cooperation between the Kunshan Brose Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. and the United Institute of Informatics Problems of the NAS of Belarus;
- Memorandum on scientific and technical cooperation between Giant Kunshan Light Metal Technology Co., LTD. and the SSPA Optics, Optoelectronics and Laser Technology.

At the end of the meeting, the grand opening of the memorial plaque of the Kunshan Innovation Center of the NAS of Belarus was held.
