Scholarship opportunities in Sweden

Swedish_Institute The Swedish Institute (SI) Visby Programme provides scholarships for academic and expert mobility between Sweden, the EU Eastern Partnership, and Russia.

The Visby Programme was launched in 1997. Therefore, this year we are proud to celebrate the 20th anniversary of funding academic and talent mobility in the Baltic Sea region and the neighbouring countries. The programme has indeed seen changes throughout the years, not only in focus or types of scholarships/funding instruments, but also regarding geographic scope. Today the Visby Programme includes Sweden, the EU Eastern Partnership countries and Russia. With some 140 scholarships granted each year altogether, the programme is still going strong. Here's to another 20 successful years!
