From 24 to 28 May 2017 Dr. Alexander Uspenskiy, Director of the RCTT took part in the China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Fair (CIEF 2017), which were held in Guangzhou (China).

Organizers of the event: the Guangdong Provincial Government, the China Association for Science and Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Chinese Academy of Engineering and the Jiu San Society.

The visit was organized by RCTT and Guangdong-CIS International Technological Cooperation Union (the Union) in the frame of the Cooperation Agreement signed by RCTT and the Union on 11.07.2014.

The CIEF 2017 kicks off in Guangzhou on May 26. Covering 20,000 square meters, it showcases over 1300 innovative projects involving artificial intelligence, virtual reality, unmanned aerial vehicles, etc.

The event was attended by more than 300 foreign experts from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia, Ukraine, Macao, Hon-Gong, South Korea, and others.

During its visit the Director of the RCTT:
1. Took part in the opening ceremony of the CIEF 2017;
2. Visited the Institute of Industry Technology, GuangZhou & Chinese Academy of Sciences, where he attended the China-Russia Seminar “State and Prospects for the Development of Electric Vehicles” and signed with the Guangdong-CIS International Technological Cooperation Union, the Moscow Polytechnic University and the Institute of Industry Technology, GuangZhou & Chinese Academy of Sciences Memorandum of Cooperation, which provides for cooperation in the field of commercialization of information technology, a new generation Intelligent production and vehicles on new energy sources;
3. In the Guangzhou Industrial Park, Dr. Alexander Uspenskiy made a presentation "Services provided by the Republican Center for Technology Transfer for foreign companies and investors. Innovative projects and developments of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus ".
