Centre for Transfer of Energy-Efficient Technologies (CTEET), a branch office of the Republican Centre for Technology Transfer, has been inaugurated at Eridan, Ltd. in Homel.

The branch office has been opened owing to the support jointly rendered by the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus, the National Academy of the Science of Belarus, the UNDP Country Office in Belarus and UNIDO, within the framework of the Project “Developing an Infrastructure to Support Innovation Activity in the Republic of Belarus” run by the Government of Belarus and UNDP.

 

The main priorities of the CTEET are:

• support of the innovation activity and technology transfer in the areas of energy-efficient, resource-saving and alternative technologies, in technologies of polymers, increase in the effectiveness of the collaboration the technology developers, users, as well as in the search of potential investors in these fields;
• assistance to development of innovation enterprise and to expansion of international partnership;
• assistance to the state policy being pursued in the small and medium-sized innovation business sector in the domain of power engineering.
