The light filters for IR range of spectrum on the basis of ZnAs2 and Zn3As2 monocrystals.

Description

Laboratory samples of the light filters made of ZnAs2 and Zn3As2 for IR range of spectrum with the slope of S~1.6%, S~2.1% respectively, and passing-through at the level of ~60-70% in the spectral region of 1.2-1.5 μm were developed.

The light filters on the basis of ZnAs2 and Zn3As2 have sharp absorption edges that significantly exceed the characteristics of silicone- or germanium-based light filters.
