The kit is meant for determining thyroglobulin (TG) concentration in human blood serum by means of solid-phase enzyme-linked immunoassay on the basis of monoclonal antibodies

The kit is meant for determining thyroglobulin (TG) concentration in human blood serum by means of solid-phase enzyme-linked immunoassay on the basis of monoclonal antibodies. TG level can be used for early detection of relapses and metastases of high differentiated thyroid gland carcinoma in postoperative patients, for evaluation of radioiodine therapy efficiency of thyroid gland cancer metastases, for determining of thyrotoxicosis severity level and for control of its treatment efficiency. The assay allows performing analysis of 39 unknown, 7 calibration and 2 check samples in duplicates. The detectable TG concentrations range from 0.5 to 200 mcg/l. The volume of blood serum sample under investigation is 50mcl. Analysis time – 3 hours. Sensitivity – 0.5 mcg/l. Coefficient of variation < 8%. Shelf-life – 6 months. Due to its technical characteristics the assay is second to none of the best foreign analogues. There are no domestic analogues of that kind.
