Description

Cable lubricant KS-Un is a structured dispersion of gelling material on the basis of side and intermediate products of petrochemical production in base containing natural oil-soluble surface active agents. To ensure the necessary operational characteristics balanced composition of different purpose additives is introduced into the lubricant. The lubricant is meant for technological operations of steel-wire cables production and protection of them from corrosion while transportation, storage and using. It can be also used for conservation of unpainted surfaces of metal constructions stored in severe and very severe conditions.

Technical advantages and economic benefits

The cable lubricant is a homogeneous ointment ranging from dark-brown to black colour with kinematic viscosity of at least 16.0 mm²/s at 100°C, dropping point being 72-80°C. The lubricant ensures the time of steel protection 10 considering the impact of sulphur dioxide of at least 3 cycles; it does not have corrosion influence on metals, has high level of adhesive capacity and freezing resistance. Lubricant flash temperature in open crucible is at least 270°C. As for the operational properties the lubricant can compete with the best foreign analogues having at the same time a much lower price.

Technology differentiation and uniqueness

Intermediate and waste products of petrochemical production used as lubricant components made it possible to widen the range of raw materials available for production of protective lubricants and to lessen the cost while maintaining the high level of quality.
