Summary

Composite self-lubricating material is meant for manufacturing of parts of friction units in machines and mechanisms.

Description

F4-VM material is a powder composition, from which parts and intermediates are produced using the method of pressing with subsequent heat treatment.
Main technical specifications:

Indicator Value
Breaking tensile stress, MPa 18-20
Flexural strength under deformation 10%, MPa 47-53
Brinell hardness, MPa 55-58
Vicat melting point, °C 210-220
Wear intensity, Ix109 at P=3 MPa, V=0,5 m/s 2,2-3,5
Coefficient of friction without lubrication 0,12-0,20

Technology type

Technical advantages and economic benefits

Items made of F4-VM material compare well with imports with regard to main technological parameters, and exceed them in durability and service life by 15-20%.

Technology differentiation and uniqueness
