Summary
The diamond-like carbonaceous coatings and the technology of their application are designed for effective protection of thermoresistor plate surfaces of cash registers from galling by movable temperature-sensing paper tapes in the stationary and portable cash registers and other heat-sealing recording devices.
Description
The technology consists in chemical deposition from gaseous phase
of diamond-like carbonaceous coating application via decompounding of
carbon-containing vapor and gas in low-temperature plasma. The technology can
be carried out in production conditions using industrial vacuum assemblies. Key

As per technical producing characteristics, the protective coatings on the basis of diamond-like carbon conform to international standards. The technological process of their application on thermoresistor plates is much cheaper, simpler and more efficient than technological processes of protective multilayer coatings on the basis of carbon nitrides, oxides and carbides used at present for the same purposes.
