Description

Biopesticide “Ecogreen” is worked out on the basis of bacteria  Pseudomonas aurantiaca БИМ В-446 strain which is fungicidally active to such fungi as  Fusarium sp., Botrytis cinerea, Pythium sp., Colletotrichum lagenarium, Alternaria cucumerina, Rhizoctonia solani incitant of diseases of cucumber, parsley and dill grown according to the hydroponic method.

The advantage of the proposed technology is its wastelessness and cheap raw material. The application of biopesticide “Ecogreen” while growing cucumbers according to the low-capacity hydroponics ensures yield increase by 9,2-10,3% and acquisition of 58000 $/hа net profit.

Biopesticide “Ecogreen” was tested in Unitary Enterprise “Minsk Hothouse Enterprise”. Biological efficiency of “Ecogreen” preparation against parsley root rot was 20,9 — 40,2%, dill root rot – 24,4 — 69,8% and cucumber scab – 43,9 — 64,0%.
