Summary

Development and mastering of manufacturing of small-sized highly reliable new generation welding machine featuring high-frequency transformer on the basis of composite low-coercitivity MIM-material. The machine under development is meant for conducting welding operations at industrial enterprises and by individuals.

Description

Development of a reliable patently-clean inverting device featuring high-frequency transformer on the basis of composite low-coercitivity MIM-material. The research on creating of a crucially innovative patently-clean composite low-coercitivity material held by the Institute of Solid Bodies Physics and Semiconductors (National Academy of Sciences of Belarus) and scientific-production firm “Dipol” proved the possibility of successful solving of the stated issue. The developed composite material with saturation induction of about 2 T, Curie temperature of over 800 °C operating at the frequency range of 50–100 kHz allows to eliminate all the stated disadvantages of the existing inverting devices. A possibility of a transformer made with the use of the proposed composite material to come out to saturation at the operating mode of the core 0.3–0.5 T is absolutely impossible.
As opposed to ferrite cores devices, the inverting device being developed ensures 100% powering at any capacity. This inverting device featuring a high-frequency transformer on the basis of a composite magnetic material protected by international patents is a patently-clean product and can be sold in any country.
In the process of project implementation it is planned to carry out works on optimizing the energy conversion device that includes interfacing of parameters of the high-frequency transformer based on composite magnetic material and those of the power transistor switches. The processor-based system for controlling power transistor switches that determines welding conditions is planned to be developed. The major part of the work relates to optimization of the welding process on AC- and DC-current in manual/ automatic mode, elaboration of breadboard and test models, certification and organization of production at SPF “Dipol” facilities in Vitebsk.
