Summary

The device is used for measurement, calculation and analysis of open-circuit transformer characteristics that give objective information about the technical condition of a unit.

Description

The device consists of an electronic package and a transmitter. The transmitter contains a magneto-sensitive sensor (magnetoresistor), ring magnet, magnetic screening system and constructively made as a detachable one under the “pincers principle”. It makes possible to perform contactless measurement of current in current distributors with a diameter of max. 10 mm included. A signal read from the sensor and proportional to the measured alternate current value is shown after appropriate processing at the electronic package display in μA. The display has a built-in keyboard for control. IMTB device is portable.
