Summary

The device is used for measurement, calculation and analysis of open-circuit transformer characteristics that give objective information about the technical condition of a unit.

Description

The device makes it possible to carry out supply transformer tests under operation conditions, e.g. in railway main supply lines, as well as upon their manufacturing and repairs.
Functionally, this device makes it possible to carry out:
- measurement of three effective voltage values;
- measurement of three effective current values;
- calculation of zero-sequence current;
- calculation of out-of-phase current ratio;
- measurement of angles between current and voltage in each phase;
- measurement of active, reactive and total power per each phase;
- calculation of power factor per each phase;
- measurement of overall resistive, reactive and total losses in the three phases;
- carrying out of harmonic current analysis on each phase;
- measurement of high-frequency component value (over 50 kHz) at excitation current curves;
- storage and the possibility to review the diagnostics results in nonvolatile memory;
- measurement results transfer to PC via RS232 interface.
Measurement range:
- measured voltage range: 10 – 250V (effective value),
with two subranges: 10 - 110 V, 110 - 250 V;
- measured current range: 0.015 – 5 A (effective value),
with three subranges: 0.015-0.08 A, 0.08 – 0.5 A; 0.5 – 5 A;
- range of measured active, reactive and total power per each phase, kW (kVA reactive, kVA): 0.00015 – 1.25;
- range of measured active, reactive and total power, cumulative value of three phases, kW (kVA reactive, kVA): 0.00045 – 3.75;
- range of measured phase difference between current and voltage values, deg: 0 – 360.
