Summary

The device is used for diagnosing of electrical equipment winding (one- and three-phase electric motors, generators, starter units and others) for availability of turn-to-turn short circuits, frame grounds, and disconnection.

Description

Operation of the device is based on transient-response analysis in winding using comparison curves of decreasing vibrations written to the unit memory. Software-programmable methods provide for detecting and visualization of curve s-signal decreasing vibrations on display with or without short-circuited closed loop. It considerably increases device response characteristic and self-descriptiveness, i.e. makes it possible to analyze the signal quantitatively, directly conditioned by short-circuited closed loop as per maximum sensitivity of transient phenomena to short-circuited closed loop influence.
