Summary
Standard series of mechatronic control systems of automobile machine transmissions includes a complex of electronic systems of automatic and command control of mechanic and hydromechanic transmissions used for mine truck “BelAZ” construction, wheel landing gears of Minsk Wheel Tractor Plant (MWTP) and tractors “Belarus”.
Description
Standard series of mechatronic control systems of automobile
machine transmissions on the basis of a single program-apparatus platform of
construction of distributed management information system with
“intellectual” peripheries. The main composition of systems includes the
following electronic modules interacted through communication channels in
serial CAN 2.0B:
System concentrator realizes the main functional schemes of automatic gear
selection and control over its switching in transient working modes; it also
organizes functional interaction of modules inside the system and with the
external systems of the automobile;
Peripheral control module is meant for control of proportional and discrete
electro-hydraulic valves used for switching the transmission grades on the
basis of system concentrator commands; it also processes the signals of
physical quantity sensors used by the system on the local level and interaction
with their “smart” analogues;
Information display module provides the driver with information on machine
movement parameters (control system operating mode (auto, command, neutral,
stop)), rotation velocity of transmission elements, current, recommended and
fixed transmission, facts of blocking of hydraulic transformer and switching of
retarder brake, on emergency situations, as well as service information that is
necessary for system setting and its technical maintenance in operation
conditions.
A joystick-type modes selector is used for ergonomic driver-system interface
for selection of the current working mode of the system including control over
the information display modes.
The systems are adapted for use in home manufactured automobiles and ensure
control of transmission in automatic, command and emergency working mode.
Program-apparatus realization of the system makes it possible to implement
schemes of transmission control in transient working modes under load with
continuous drive transmission and “electrical flow” that is used to the
fullest extent in control systems of standard series of transmissions in
tractors “Belarus”.
Technology type
Technical advantages and economic benefits
Distributed architecture of construction of systems on the basis of unified electronic modules allows to increase its full-scale production on the basis and consequently to decrease cost of the very systems and their technical maintenance in the process of operation. The use of distributed architecture makes it possible to place electronic modules in close proximity to the controlled objects leading to a significant reduction in the number and length of wire.
Technology differentiation and uniqueness
Distributed architecture with “intellectual” periphery.
