Summary

There is a rapid development of a new trend that is known as the precision farming system. It is one of the most advanced concepts of agricultural industry that presupposes carrying out of operations in high-precision mode with minimum cumulative expenditures. Use of hydraulic drives on powered tractors to carry out control over front and rear hookups as well as several external consumers presupposes automation of technological cycling by several executive mechanisms using electro-driven sectional distributors. During tilling operations, after each cycle, an operator shall carry out constantly repeated sequence of operations related to operational modes adjustment besides performing obligatory technological functions. Therefore it is necessary to create new advanced control systems in order to provide competitiveness of the tractors. These systems shall make it possible to raise technical, engineering and ergonomic characteristics of machine-tractor unit upon meeting agrotechnical requirements.

Description

The control system includes programmable microprocessor controller, remote control devices (joysticks) and indicating devices as well as a connector cable. The system provides a continuous control over 4 distribution panels of external consumers according to a defined algorithm with the possibility to indicate executed control functions via indicators. A diagnostic function and the possibility to change automatic control for manual control are provided herewith.

The use of this system makes it possible to enhance the accuracy of tilling operations and improve ergonomic parameters due to the possibility to program a sequence of the performed operations using signal pickup from remote control devices over agricultural implements with the following automatic reproduction of recorded signals. Moreover, in comparison to foreign analogues (Bosh-Rexroth), a supplementary button of flow value fixation on the joystick has been implemented. Moreover there are two microchips in the joystick construction that measure turning angles, instead of four microchips for measuring of linear movement value what reduces the probability of system failure.
The scientific meaning of this development consists in original algorithmic software that makes it possible to get high dynamic qualities of activation of hydraulic drive executive mechanisms as well as in explanation and determination of mechanical specifications of mechatronic system components of noncontact surface contour following with the help of computer representation of dynamic and experimental-statistical models. Moreover, metrical and driving stages are worked out using newest automation and electrohydraulic equipment. Dynamic and energy problems as well as problems of control system reliability with open back coupling are solved all at once by synthesis of optimal structures of hydraulic, electronic and electromechanic elements. The specified approach will make it possible to create cost-effective control system over electrohydraulic distributors of external consumers that is highly competitive with foreign analogues by constructive and operational characteristics and has lower cost.
