The project comprises:

• System of corporate cataloguing, maintaining of electronic and on-line public access Internet catalogues (OPAC) on the basis of national libraries;
• Library automatization system (BIT-2000u);
• Electronic document delivery system on the basis of Internet-access center of the Central Research Library of the National Academy of Science of Belarus;
• Scientific electronic library of the National Academy of Science of Belarus;
• System of national database of expert (normative) records maintenance;
• System of maintenance and on-line Internet-access to national database of industrial property objects;
• System for Maintenance and Online Web Access to the National Database of Industrial Property.

Technical advantages and economic benefits

Corporative cataloguing system maintenance of free electronic and on-line public access Internet catalogues (OPAC) was designed for on-line corporative cataloguing organizing and on-line electronic Internet catalogs maintenance in BELMARC-format to provide bibliographical records with network interface of remote Internet-assess.
BIT-2000u system is designed for development of integrated networks of separate libraries and includes automation mediums of traditional library work and OPAC with distant document ordering, remote and local on-line cataloguing and on-line import of records from remote catalogues.
System of remote ordering, accounting and transportation of documents from library funds provides effective solution for providing information for various branches of knowledge, operative and quality supply users with electronic publications, creation of electronic duplicate document archive, search of information in the archive providing safety of the most essential publications.
Scientific electronic library and support system of on-line Internet-assess to national database of industrial estate objects (such as inventions, utility models, industrial models, trademarks) are important elements and advanced direction of information support system.

Corporative library information systems based on Internet-technologies, exchange of bibliographic records presented in MARC-formats between libraries, decrease of labour intensity and catalogisation coasts by ready records use from summary electronic catalogue.
