Summary

The project refers to the sphere of biotechnologies and is used for accelerated multiplication of introduced sorts of tall-growing blueberry. It may be used in agriculture and forestry, food and medical industry.

Description

The explants selected from annual shoots of introduced tall-growing blueberry sorts are sterilized during 10 minutes. Sterile explants are put down on culture medium and are incubated under the temperature of 25°C, the photoperiod being 16 hours, illumination of 4000 lx. Multiplicative explants are bedded in sterile substratum, avoiding the stage of rooting on culture medium.

Technology type

Technical advantages and economic benefits

The developed clone micro-multiplication method of introduced sorts of tall-growing blueberry allows excluding from the process flows the rooting stage of regenerants on culture medium. First, the advantage consists in economy of expensive chemical agents, necessary for risogenesis; second, in reduction of working hours spent on wash and bacterial purification of dishes, preparation and autoclaving of mediums, work in laminar boxes; third, in reduction of the period of obtaining regenerants ready for transplanting; fourth, in simplification of the procedure of their relocation in substratum, requiring no washing of roots from agar.
