Summary
Multicomponent probiotic based on specially selected strains of lactic acid and bifidobacteria which have unique physiological and biochemical properties intended for the prevention and treatment of gastrointestinal disease, normalization of microbiocenosis of the gastrointestinal tract, immunecorrection, stimulation of growth and development of young farm animals and poultry.
Description
Bilavet - probiotic preparation obtained by cultivation
of strains of bifido- and lactobacteria which contains live active
bacterial cells in amount of no less than 1 × 108 in 1 сm3.
Bilavet-C is a dry form of the drug, includes freeze-dried cultures of
bifido- and lactic acid bacteria in an amount of no less than 1 × 1010 in 1 g.
The
drug is non-pathogenic and nontoxic. Bifido- and lactic acid bacteria
of the drug, are characterized by high activity of the growth and acid
production, bileproof, acidproof, have high antagonist activity against
nominally pathogenic and pathogenic microorganisms of genera Salmonella, Klebsiella, Proteus, Pasteurella, Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, а также E.coli,
which cause intestinal diseases of animals, and normalize the
intestinal flora, increase nonspecific resistance of the organism.
Probiotic improves feed digestibility, contributes to an increase in
body weight of animals, activation of redox and metabolic processes,
stimulation of the immune system.
Therapeutic and preventive effect of probiotics is due to:
-
antagonistic action of bifido- and lactobacteria in relation to
pathogenic and nominally pathogenic microorganisms in the
gastrointestinal tract;
- the lack of antagonistic effect of bifido- and lactobacteria on other representatives of normal microflora;
- the formation of normal microflora of the gastrointestinal tract;
-
the ability of bacteria to synthesize vitamins, amino acids, organic
acids, antibiotic substances, enzymes involved in metabolism of
carbohydrates and proteins;
- the regulation of immune functions of the microorganism and rise of immune reactivity and natural resistance.
Technology type
Technical advantages and economic benefits
Bilavet (TU BY 100289066.042-2009) or Билавет-С (ТU BY 100289066.083-2010) – a veterinary biological product – is an alternative to feed antibiotics.
Ingredients: contains live active cells (at least 1 × 108/сm3 or 1×1010/g) and metabolites of bifidobacteria and lactic acid bacteria
Intended for the prevention of gastrointestinal diseases of
young farm animals and poultry, the restoration of normal microflora of
the gastrointestinal tact, activation of redox and metabolic processes
in the body, increase of productivity and immunobiological status,
stimulation of growth and development of animals for the treatment - against dysbacteriosis, enteritis , diarrhea of bacterial etiology, poisonings.
Preparation form: liquid (Bilavet) with friable sediment or powder (Bilavet-C), freeze-dried cultures of bacteria.
