Description

New mid-early hybrid of corn Polesskiy 212 СВ is protected by Certificate of Authorship No. 0000593 of 15 January 2004 for the variety of plants.

Technical advantages and economic benefits

Hybrid for silo-corn use, first generation. Three-linear, mid-early, FAO-210. Hybrid exhibits high potential efficiency. According to selection test results, the yield of solids content is 155-180 centner/ha, corn rate is 85-90 centner/ha, green mass rate is 450-500 centner/ha. Consistence of corn is silicon-like or tooth-like. Plants are mid-tall, 230-250 cm high; number of leaves on main stem is 12-14. Hybrid is marked by high cold-resistance, intensive initial growth, resistance to lodging. Seed farming of hybrid is carried out on C-type sterility with full restoration of fertility. Hybrid seeds of the first generation are obtained according to the scheme of parent component alternation 8:4.
