Summary

Combined planting unit carries out formation of narrow-purpose trapezoid beds 10-18 cm high, 15-25 cm wide in upper section, single- and twin-row seed planting of vegetable crops with a single-seed method. It carries out 11 technological processes: tillage of soil after tractor produces a track, tillage of soil on the even surface in the zone of location of beds, formation of ridges, formation of narrow-purpose beds with various parameters and simultaneous compaction, formation of one or two grooves for seeds on the surface of beds, single-seed planting of seeds, covering seeds with soil, compaction of soil above seeds, with consequent covering of grooves with seeds with soil and micro-compaction and formation of soil on the surface of beds.

Number of planting sections – 4 pieces.
Efficiency – 1.6-1.9 ha/h.
Supplied with a set of seeding disks for seed planting of carrot, table beet, cabbage, radish, and haricot with space between rows from 1.5 to 30.0 cm.

The unit provides:
- reduction of seed consumption as compared to unit KPA – 2.8-15%;
- commercial yield: 80%;
- with respect to cost reduction due to decrease in seed consumption and increase in produce merchantability by 13,948.27 thousand rubbles, the unit makes it possible to save up on mechanical labour by 11.260.92 thousand roubles, and yield annual economical effect to the extent of 7926.0 thousand rubbles, or 3.8 thousand standard conversion units.
