Summary

Hybrid of white cabbage Ilaria F1 is meant for cultivation of early produce in open ground in all agroclimatic zones of the country. Recommended for fresh consumption.

Description

Hybrid Ilaria of ultra-early ripening with a vegetation period of 75-80 days from mass sprouting. Obtained using phenomenon of physiological self-incompatibility, and exhibits genetic resistance to vascular wilt. Potential yield up to 50 t/ha.

Technology type

Technical advantages and economic benefits

Due to high evenness, good product qualities and extended crop capacity, hybrid Ilaria F1 is ideal for growing with intent of realisation of early produce at high market prices. The hybrid is appropriate for thick planting. Due to friendly return of yield, a short-term head harvesting is possible. Annual introduction over the area of 1200 ha will make it possible to save up on currency assets for seeds acquisition to the extent of 90,000 standard conversion units, besides due to reduction of seed cost, it will be possible to save up to 60 million rubbles.

Technology differentiation and uniqueness

For the first time in the Republic of Belarus, an ultra-early heterotic hybrid is obtained on the basis of physiological self-incompatibility. Introduction of hybrids on the basis of self-incompatibility will make it possible to further protect proprietary rights.
