Summary

Pepper type Alesya is meant for cultivation in plastic film greenhouses in all agroclimatic zones of the country. Used for fresh consumption and processing. Registered in the State Register of Varieties of Trees and Bushes of Belarus since 2003.

Description

Sweet pepper type Alesya falls into a group of early-ripening vegetables, it ripens at the level of most early-ripening types of Russian selection Health (Zdorovie) and Swallow (Lastochka), but surpasses them in yield. The bush is semi-spreading, 50-60 cm high. The fruit are cone-shaped, riffled, sized 12 x 7 cm, unripe fruit are light green, ripe fruit are red. The average fruit mass is 100 g. Wall thickness is 5 mm. Yield is 5 kg/m2.
