Description
The centre offers technology and equipment for synthesis of metallic powder, which is then used to produce soft magnetic materials and electrical parts from them. Produced material can be used as replacement for electromagnetic steel.[br][/br][br][/br]In comparison to electromagnetic steel the soft magnetic material have no eddy current losses at high frequencies due to electrical insulation of individual iron particles in the ferrite layer. The advantages of new material for low frequency (50 Hz) applications are high linearity of magnetic characteristic and thermal stability. The manufacturing of parts using powder metallurgy means non-waste production and lower cost of finished products.[br][/br][br][/br]Specification of powder synthesis equipment:[br][/br]* Productivity of single plant: 50 kg/h (scalable)[br][/br]* Particle size: 40-150 micrometers[br][/br]* Average thickness of ferrite layer: 1-3 nanometers[br][/br]* Low energy consumption (working temperature: 150-200 C).[br][/br][br][/br]Parameters of soft magnetic materials based on iron powder:[br][/br]* Magnetic saturation induction: up to 2.1 T[br][/br]* Working frequency: 100 Hz - 1 MHz[br][/br]* Low electromagnetic losses.[br][/br][br][/br]Density of components manufactured by moulding powder under 0.5-0.6 GPa pressure is 7.3-7.5 g/cm3.
