Description
All-solid-state multi-wavelength laser system (joint development of Institute of Physics, NAS of Belarus, and King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology KACST, Saudi Arabia). The laser system can generate pulsed radiation at one or several wavelengths from a list of 11 available wavelengths in the ultraviolet, visible and infrared spectral ranges. Most commercially available solid-state lasers and laser systems, as a rule, generate radiation at one, two, three or, at most, four fixed wavelengths. As a consequence, the potential for their application can be substantially restricted. Institute of Physics, NAS of Belarus, and King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology KACST, Saudi Arabia, have jointly developed all-solid-state multi-wavelength laser system. The laser system can generate pulsed radiation at one or several wavelengths from a list of 11 available wavelengths in the ultraviolet, visible and infrared spectral ranges.[br][/br]Laser system parameters: [br][/br]wavelengths of generation: 266, 355, 532, 559, 563, 588, 599, 621, 639, 1064, 1571 nm[br][/br]energy of generated pulses: 15-160 mJ*[br][/br]pulse repetition rate: 10, 20 Hz[br][/br]pulse duration: 9-15 нс*[br][/br]angular divergence of the generated beam: 1.5-6.0 mrad*[br][/br]* depending on the wavelength[br][/br]

Technology Benefits
1. broad spectral range of the laser generation (the interval of available wavelengths overlaps 6 octaves); [br][/br]2. relatively low power consumption (diode pumping); [br][/br]3. all-solid-state approach (no liquid coolant); [br][/br]4. simplicity and promptness of operating wavelength switching (modular design).
