Summary
Belarusian academic institution offers technology and sources of high-purity hydrogen. The operation of the hydrogen generator is the catalytic hydrolysis of sodium borohydride (NaBH4). Main advantages - an innovative circulation system using cheap catalysts without additives precious metals such as platinum, palladium and others. The Institute offers the technology and sources of hydrogen on the contracts with customers.

Description
The hydrogen generator is a cylinder diameter of 150 mm and a height of 250 mm. Starting hydrogen generator is carried out by an electric heater embedded in a solution supply path to the catalytic unit to preheat it. This solution is quite simple and, most importantly, manageable. Start time measured in minutes.[br][/br][br][/br]The heater is made on the basis of three identical glow plug of a diesel engine brand Bosh. One candle power 300W. This decision was justified by the use of natural fuel cell (and the car) low voltage 12V. A working solution composed of a granular anhydrous NaBH4 and a saturated solution at room temperature NaBO2. To implement the hydrolysis reaction solution is pumped through the NaBH4 catalyst unit. Minimum required rate of hydrolysis depends on the duration of operations such as draining waste solution NaBO2, preparing and serving fresh solution NaBH4.[br][/br][br][/br]The operation of the hydrogen generator is a catalytic hydrolysis of sodium borohydride (NaBH4). Used catalyst own production, which provides the desired speed during the hydrolysis process the circulating circuit. In the developed technology for production of pure hydrogen is stored in dry NaBH4. As the solvent used NaBH4 at room temperature a saturated solution of sodium metaborate. The temperature in the working solution can be maintained at 145-153C, which allows for the hydrolysis of NaBH4 at high speed.[br][/br][br][/br]A program that monitors operation of the hydrogen generator and control parameters that affect the course of the processes occurring in the plant. Using computer control allows you to control all key functions and provides a visual display of controlled dynamic information in numerical and graphical form.[br][/br][br][/br]The developed program automatically collect information about the five parameters (temperature of the solution and gas in the reactor, the reactor pressure, the receivers of high and low pressure), controlling the flow of processes in the hydrogen generator, hydrogen pressure and flow control at the reactor outlet. In addition, a control operation of the heater to ensure the necessary temperature conditions of the experiment.
