Summary
Compositions of synthetic wear-resistant chrome irons (WCI) abbreviated as ИЧХ18ВН and ИЧХ18ВМ and methods of casting of parts for crushing and milling equipment have been developed.

Description
The method of casting of wear-resistant parts from the above-mentioned irons in metal molds has been developed. It ensures an increase in labor productivity and accuracy of castings as well as in wear-resistance of parts due to their improved superfine structure. Technologies of casting of WCI parts depending on conditions of their future operation have been developed.

Technology Benefits
The developed ИЧХ18ВН and ИЧХ18ВМ irons in comparison with the ИЧХ28Н2 iron have the following advantages:[br][/br]- improved wear-resistance at the expense of reduction of carbide sizes of and augmentation of impact strength;[br][/br]- lower cost due to reduction of a Cr content in the irons and use of alloyed steel scrap.[br][/br]

Technology Differentiation and Uniqueness
New technology.

Context in which technology was identified
It is implemented in ITM of NAS of Belarus. The ИЧХ18ВН and ИЧХ18ВМ iron parts are delivered to such enterprises as OAO "Polotsk-Steklovolokno", OAO «Minsk Production Plant of Building Materials», UP «NPO Tsentr», OAO «Gomel GOK», ZAO "Ural-Omega" (Magnitogorsk, the Russian Federation).
