Summary
State Scientific Institution "The Institute of General and Inorganic Chemistry of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus "(IGIC NAS of Belarus) offers modular stations and units for water and air purification for sale and distribution, offers the technology of production through licensing.

Description
Water purification from iron, manganese and hydrogen sulphide is conducted by a number of serial processes: water saturation with aerial oxygen, catalytic oxidation of specified compounds and their conversion to non-soluble forms (hydroxy-compounds of iron and manganese, free sulphur), microfilter purification from mechanical and colloid impurities - http://www.igic.bas-net.by/tech.php?id=75&lang=gb[br][/br][br][/br]Air purification from humidity, aerosol impurities is conducted through capillary condensation in pore space of ceramic filter elements.[br][/br][br][/br]Modular station for water purification consists of three blocks: 1 – aeration block, 2 – sorption-catalytic block, 3 – microfiltration block. Water saturation with aerial oxygen occurs in the first block, oxidation of iron, manganese and hydrogen sulphide happens in the second block, rejection of mechanical and colloid impurities occurs in the third block.[br][/br][br][/br]Air purification units are designed on the basis of pipe ceramic filter elements. They do not require complementary energy and operate in dynamic self-regeneration mode with automatic collection of condensate.

Technology Benefits
High efficiency of water and air purification units together with their low cost is reasoned by the use of sorption-catalytic and membrane materials of in-house design and manufacture. Units for water purification do not require chemical reagents, consume little water for rinsing and operate in automatic mode.

Technology Differentiation and Uniqueness
The complex usage of reagentless processes – aeration, catalysis and microfiltration, allows to purify the water from iron, manganese, hydrogen sulphide, mechanical and colloid imputities. High gas permeabilty of ceramic filter elements together with their high selectivity ensures effective air purification from humidity, oil and dust with minimal pressure loss during the use of units of air purification based on these elements.[br][/br][br][/br]
